Create an Exception for a Definition for a Particular URL¶

You can create an exception that ignores findings from a definition for a URL. To do so, open a scan report and open the details under a particular URL. Then click "create exception". Then rerun your scan and note that the definitions are now disabled.

You can create an exception that ignores findings from a definition regardless of URL. To do so, open a scan report and select the filter icon next to the definition name in the "Definitions Matched" table. Then rerun your scan and note that the definitions are now disabled.

Disable the Definition in the Scan Policy¶

You can disable the definition category in the scan policy. Click the link titled in the menu on the left titled "Edit Scan Policy" and select the definition categories you want to disable. Then rerun your scan and note that the definitions are now disabled.
