General

  1. The app must work with custom root endpoints
  2. The app has a description
  3. The app has an icon
  4. The app is visible
  5. The app works on all applicable versions of Splunk (6.2+)
    1. The app uses web.conf to make inputs public which requires 6.2
  6. The print and edit controls are not displayed on the lister and editor
  7. The app works with IE, Safari, FireFox, and Chrome

Manager Page

  1. The checkboxes will check/uncheck accordingly depending on if the settings are set to the defaults or not

Modular Input

  1. Web proxy works
    1. The proxy setting is used when using the built-in HTTP client
    2. The proxy setting is used when using Firefox
  2. Non-admins can be granted ability to create inputs
  3. Form authentication works

Input Editor

  1. Preview dialog works
    1. Shows a message when no results were returned
    2. Shows a message when no fields were returned for a result
    3. Pagination works
  2. Input validation works
  3. An message is shown when an attempt is made to load an input that doesn't exist
  4. The load_page controller function won't allow proxying unless the user can edit the inputs

Cloud Restrictions

  1. Modular input will not execute inputs that don't use HTTPS
  2. Batch input view will not allow sites that don't use HTTPS
  3. Modular input view rejects sites that don't use HTTPS
  4. Web page preview controller will not load sites that don't use HTTPS
