Getting Definitions¶

NSIA uses definitions to identify potentially unwanted content. The definitions are updated in order to discover new threats. Definitions are available for free from ThreatFactor.com.

Registering for Definitions¶

Definitions are free but requires free registration at ThreatFactor.com. Once you login, you can request a new license key. It is recommended that you get different licenses for each installation of NSIA.

Importing the License into NSIA¶

The license key can be entered on the system configuration page or on the license management page.

Retrieving Updated Definitions¶

By default, NSIA does not automatically import new definitions. You can set NSIA to automatically update the definition set on the system configuration.
